Holly Willoughby back 'home' with Phil after a year’s maternity leave
With her eldest starting school and Chester soon to be a toddler, Philip Schofield's side-kick makes a welcome return to ITV's This Morning next month
Mum-of-three Holly Willoughby hung up her This Morning heels last September to have her baby Chester but has now confessed she's dying to get back to work ahead of her September 1st return date. She told OK! magazine: "Obviously I've been really busy during the year, but I've definitely missed it.
"I've been immersed in child-land and I have loved it. Belle starts school in September so really it was her last year of being around every day after nursery, so it's been lovely to have that time together, too."
"I feel ready to go back to This Morning now.”
The TV presenter may have been on maternity leave but that doesn't mean she hasn't been keeping a watchful eye on what’s been going on whilst she’s been away.
“I did get to watch it when Chester was really tiny and I was feeding a lot on the sofa," she reveals.
This Morning fans are also delighted that Holly and Phil are back together: "Great to see you back. You and @Schofe go together like chips and ketchup," @zippysalsinan tweeted.
And another fan commented: "@hollywills @Schofe so happy these two are back together soon, I can finally enjoy watching it again!!" Ouch!
And it isn’t the first time she’s been back with Phillip Schofield. Six weeks after giving birth, she introduced Chester to Phil on the set, which was later followed by a non-mumsy lunch (creating the mother of hangovers) and a boozy night out.
