Home & Away actress Ada Nicodemou's touching tribute to stillborn son
"I'll never get to see your toes wiggle" reads the heartbreaking poem Ada's shared on Facebook
Aussie actress Ada Nicodemou has paid an emotional tribute on Facebook to her son Harrison, who was delivered stillborn in August.
Ada, best known in the UK for her role as Leah on Home & Away, shared a truly touching poem, entitled ‘Never’. She also used the post to thank her fans for their “love and support during a very difficult time”.
The 37-year-old star and her husband Chrys Xipolitas announced the tragic news in a statement to the media via Australia’s Channel 7. It's thought Ada was at least 7 months pregnant when she had the stillbirth.
“Our baby boy Harrison was delivered stillborn on Thursday, August 7, 2014,” it read.
"We appreciate your love and support as we mourn the loss of our precious son. We understand we have lived some of our lives in the public eye, but we respectfully ask for privacy at this difficult and extremely painful time so we can grieve and heal."
Ada and Chris have a son together, Johnas, who was born in 2012 .
