How Kim Kardashian's trying to turn her breech baby
The mum-of-1 is trying all sorts from music to ice to get her baby to turn of his own accord
Kim Kardashian has revealed her son is currently in the breech position and with her December due date fast approaching, she's been trying everything to turn the baby.
Kim is expecting her second child with husband Kanye West. On Tuesday, the 35 year old took to her personal website to explain that her baby boy was supposed to have got into the right position – with his head down – by 32 weeks. But he's still feet-down and she's trying all sorts to avoid a caesarean delivery.
"I have been doing everything I can to try to turn the baby,' she wrote.
"As I lay awake late at night, researching, I've learned that you actually can deliver a breech baby and I feel fortunate that my doctor Paul Crane is one of the few doctors that still does this. They just don't even teach it anymore."
And Kim has been trying some unusual ways to get her baby to turn.
"I lay practically upside down 3 times a day for 15 minutes.
"I play music in the right position and ice my belly in certain spots to get him to squirm out of the breech position. I even started acupuncture where I burn moxa (mugwort) on my pinky toe every day! I am even attempting hypnosis!"
Kim, who's already mum to 2-year-old North, says she usually turns to her mum Kris Jenner or sister Kourtney for pregnancy advice – but despite having 9 pregnancies between them, neither woman has ever had a breech baby before.
"Obviously, if it's an emergency and for the safety of my son, I will get a C-section - but if I don't need one, I'd rather not," she added. "I hope the baby turns and all goes well but I'm prepared for anything!"
