How new mum Selma Blair hides her baby weight
The first-time mum and Hollywood actress shares how she's hiding her post-baby weight, as well as her plans to get into shape again after giving birth to Arthur six weeks ago
Cruel Intentions star Selma Blair has shared her thoughts about becoming a mum for the first-time.
"It's life-changing. I totally had respect for mothers that I didn't know I had. And I'm exhausted and in shock and thrilled at the same time," said Selma to E! News.
However, unlike some celebrity mums, Selma has admitted she hasn't lost any baby weight since Arthur Bleick was born six weeks ago.
"I am not fabulous. It's a mess of Jell-O all over my body. I'm relying on beautiful clothes to mask what is happening to my body. And no, I have not lost any baby weight yet," admitted the actress.
The Hollywood star made her first public appearance on the red carpet last week, in a figure-hugging green dress. It seems Selma was a bit self-conscious as she was snapped with her hands covering her (very tiny) post-baby bump.
"I'm only six weeks after birth, [but] now I'm at the point where I can exercise, so I will. I will start Pilates again and Bodyline, and I have a trainer. I've been following Alicia Silverstone's diet stuff too," added Selma.
Selma was nearly three weeks overdue when Arthur Saint was born in July and Selma recently tweeted a picture of her little one looking adorable as he had a nap on the chest of dad Jason Bleick.
"He's perfect. Arthur is perfection. He's as good as a newborn can be...He's been smiling since two weeks," gushed the new mum, reports Celebrity Baby Scoop.
