The hula hoop hack that can help your baby learn to walk
What do you think of this pain-saving parenting trick?
We are all for this dad’s hack to help his 10-month-old get to grips with walking ?
Canadian dad Gerry’s enlisted the help of a hula hoop for son Cayden to grab on to, which he can lean into while he learns to balance and use his legs to propel himself forward.
It's a pretty genius idea, eh? ? ?
Well, Gerry says he only came up with the scheme so he and wife Katherine – both rather tall people – could avoid the strain of constantly bending down to hold Cayden as he learns to toddle.
Honestly, we could sit here allll day and reminisce about the various forms of back strain we’ve experienced as parents.
Instead, we’ll just leave you with the video of Gerry’s hack… look at Cayden go! ?
Have your say
Do you rate this hula hoop hack – or have you seen it all before? At what age did your little one start walking?
