“I’m a size happy” Lily Allen slams critics
“Don’t drag me into your whole hatred of women saga” tweets Lily Allen after tabloids claim she is eager to be a size 10
Lily Allen has hit back at claims that she is trying to lose weight before her music come back. Earlier she tweeted: “Hey @MailOnline and @CloserOnline don't drag me into your whole hatred of women saga. I'm f*****g hot and I'm a size happy. Suck it.”
This comes after Closer magazine ran a story claiming that a “source” told them that Lily was desperate to lose her baby weight. “With her comeback getting nearer, Lily is becoming frustrated," the source said. "She really wants to lose weight all over, but especially on what she calls her ‘mummy tummy’, thighs, back and face.”
Closer’s source continued: “She'd love to be a toned size 10 when she hits the limelight again, but she can't seem to get enough motivation to eat healthily. She'll starve herself for hours, then hit the sugar because she'll be so hungry. There will be weeks where she will work out every second day, but then she won't go to the gym for two weeks.”
The MailOnline picked up on the same story. Looks like their “source” was unreliable as Lily went on to sarcastically tweet: “I've only found one meatball in my soup, which I suppose is a good thing seeing as I'm so desperate to be a size 10 n'all.”
The singer is mum to 21-month-old Ethel and 5-month-old Marnie. She is pictured above looking great while out walking with Ethel in her Silver Cross pram last year.
