Inbetweeners’ James Buckley announces he’s to be a dad
Inbetweener Jay’s alter ego grows up and announces model girlfriend Clair Meek is pregnant
James Buckley, star of hit Channel 4 comedy The Inbetweeners, has revealed he’s going to be a dad. The actor, 23, best known for playing crude teen Jay Cartwright, is expecting his first child with his glamour model girlfriend Clair Meek, 22.
The couple have only been together for 10 months but have been inseparable during their whirlwind romance, with Clair even accompanying James to Magaluf for the filming of The Inbetweeners movie.
“Clair and I wanted to let everyone know we are having a baby. Chuffed to say it's going brilliantly,” James told the Sun. “All very exciting with the film out in August and baby out soon after that.”
“Can't quite believe my luck. Didn't think I had it in me,” he joked.
