Is Ellen DeGeneres having a surrogate baby?
Comedienne and partner Portia de Rossi reportedly starting a family
TV host Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are having a baby, alleges the National Enquirer.
The tabloid claims that, after 4 years of marriage, Portia has finally convinced partner Ellen to start a family using a surrogate.
“Ellen had misgivings about chasing after a young one when she’ll be into her 60s,” a source told the newspaper.
Ellen reportedly gave in to the idea because she “can’t say no” to Portia.
Rumours have been rife that the couple were considering having a baby via vitro fertilisation but decided to go with a surrogate using Portia’s eggs.
“Now the biggest question is who the male donor will be,” added the source.
News source Gossip Cop has already denied there’s any truth to the baby claim after allegedly speaking to a friend of the star who said it’s “completely untrue.”
