Jaime King shows off growing baby bump with topless pic
Mum-to-be shows off her gorgeous bod - but are these nude pregnancy pics a celeb-craze too far?
Pregnant Jaime King has posted a topless photo of herself on Instagram. The Heart of Dixie actress and Taylor Swift's BFF shared the retro-filtered, Polaroid-style pic with her 731k followers, and it quickly attracted a whopping 29.9k 'likes'.
Jaime, who is 36, is expecting her second baby with husband Kyle Newman. They already have a little boy, James, who is 17-months-old. She announced her latest pregnancy on Twitter back in February, writing: "So excited to announce THE SEQUEL Coming later this year!! ... #BabyTown2 - Created by @kyle_newman and @jaime_king. Also starring #JamesKnight."
Her latest pic - captioned 'baby of the sun' comes just weeks after the mum-to-be posed in a bodysuit and platform heels for an apparent 'few seconds of fun' picture.
'I'm waiting for you baby.... Thank you to my beautiful husband for the gift of life and loving. (PS i don't suggest wearing heels pregnant, only for a few seconds of fun)' the star wrote next to the picture.
There's no denying that Jaime is in fab shape, and has a beautifully proportioned baby bump. And she is no doubt quite rightly proud of her pregnancy and changing physique, but do pics like this and Abbey Clancy's recent photo put us lesser mortals under too much pressure to look a certain way when we are pregnant?
As we say, she looks amazing, and every pregnancy is exciting and to be celebrated. But don't you sometimes think that all this stripping off for social media is just a little bit too much to cope with when the reality is more puffy ankles, constant nausea and boobs that feel like they're about to explode?
