Jennifer Aniston's not pregnant - here's why we should stop saying she is
Her rep halted the Jen Aniston pregnancy rumour mill - but we reckon it's time we ALL shut it down for good
By now, you’ve probably seen those ‘baby bump’ pics of Jennifer Aniston and fiance Justin Theroux holidaying in the Bahamas.
We don’t really wanna post them, so if you want to look you can see them here.
And you’ve probably heard the rumours that they’re expecting their first child - a rumour based on the fact that the 47-year-old star is wearing a bikini and her stomach isn’t - god forbid - completely concave.
But… SURPRISE! The rumour's aren't true. Jennifer Aniston is not actually pregnant.
Her rep said it best in a brilliantly blunt statement to Entertainment Tonight:
“Jennifer is not pregnant.
“This is just another fabrication.
“What you see is her having just enjoyed a delicious big lunch and her feeling safe on private property.”
?????
We're the first to admit it's easy to get wrapped up in the is she/isn't she storyline, especially since Jennifer is one of the world's best-loved Hollywood stars.
But surely it can't feel good to see pictures of your bikini-clad body being analysed, judged and dissected for clues? So why keep subjecting her to that?
Jennifer's also made it pretty clear in the past that if she was ever to welcome a child into her life, the public would hear the news directly from her.
So maybe it's time we all just believed that that's the case, and let Jennifer enjoy her holidays with her fiance without all the IS SHE PREGNANT?!?! noise.
We say: let the woman eat her delicious big lunch in peace. After 20 years of scrutiny, she more than deserves it.
