Julia Bradbury pregnant with “miracle” baby
Countryfile presenter reveals she’s expecting her first child in spite of suffering from endometriosis
Julia Bradbury has confirmed that she is expecting her first baby at the age of 40. The Countryfile presenter had thought she would be unable to be a mum after discovering she suffered from endometriosis – a common cause of infertility.
“We didn’t think it would be possible and the pregnancy has been a wonderful surprise for both of us,” she said. The baby is due in August and Julia and her husband Gerard Cunningham have decided to keep the sex a surprise.
Describing the pregnancy as “a bit of a miracle” Julia explained, “I have endometriosis and honestly wasn’t sure if I would ever realise my ambition to be a mum so to fall pregnant feels like a bit of a miracle.”
