Kai Rooney brings dad Wayne to school assembly
Wayne Rooney nips into school before his Man Utd training session to cheer on his 5-year-old son
Wayne Rooney is pretty proud of his eldest son right now. The 5 year old earned an achievement certificate at his school assembly – and his dad was there to cheer him on.
"Great seeing Kai pick up his achievement certificate at his assembly before training this morning," he tweeted alongside a picture of father and son. In his Manchester United tracksuit, Wayne crouches down for the picture while Kai cracks a gap-toothed smile.
And the dad-of-2 revealed he thinks there's "nothing better than family time" when sharing a black and white throwback picture of his family. Wife Coleen puts her arms around Kai and his brother Klay – who turns 2 later this month. Look how cheeky the boys look with their tongues poking out – you're going to really have your hands full before long!
