The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have jetted off to the Caribbean for an early babymoon break before the arrival of their first child in July.

Kate and William are reported to be staying in a luxury villa on the island of Mustique in the West Indies, according to The Daily Mail.

The couple have been joined by Kate’s parents Michael and Carole, who are said to be staying in a rented property nearby.

According to The Sun a source confirmed that the parents-to-be are allegedly staying in a £19,000-per-week villa.

"Both William and Kate were hoping her condition would not stop her from making the eight-hour flight to Barbados and the connection to Mustique," an insider said.

"A month ago such a journey would have been unthinkable for her, so this is a clear sign she has made a virtual recovery."

It's thought Kate Middleton will undertake her first public engagement this year after returning from holiday in Mustique, later this month. She'll visit an Action on Addiction centre in South London on February 19, to meet the treatment centre's clients and staff.

Kate's not the only expectant mum to be enjoying a spot of sunshine. Coleen Rooney, who is 6 months pregnant, is currently soaking up the rays in Barbados ahead of the arrival of her and hubby Wayne’s second child in May.

Peaches Geldof, who’s expecting her second child, also recently returned from an exotic trip with her hubby which also doubled up as their belated honeymoon.
