Katie Hopkins slams Katie Price's baby name choice on Twitter
Former Apprentice star Katie Hopkins blasts Katie Price's choice of the name 'Bunny' in a vicious Twitter attack
We’d all been waiting, like for EVER, for Katie Price to tell us her newborn daughter's name – and when she did reveal yesterday that she’s called her daughter Bunny, there were some raised eyebrows. But that's nothing compared to Katie Hopkins' shockingly OTT reaction on Twitter.
TV personality Katie Hopkins is known for her deliberately controversial views but her opinions on Bunny's unusual name managed to reach a whole new level of venom.
“Bunny? BUNNY?! Makes sense I guess, given your dad was going at it like a rabbit with all of mum's mates,” she wrote, referencing Price’s recent marital troubles with Kieran Hayler.
Ouch!
As if one harsh insult wasn't enough, Hopkins continued her abusive tweeting spree 18 hours later.
“Bunny sounds like Baby, and is cute like baby. Stand by for Bunny's new range of bath products: Bunny Bath, Bunny Shampoo, Bunny lotion,” she tweeted.
It’s actually a surprising change of tune for Katie H, who recently referred to the Katie P as a “fine businesswoman and good mum” in her column for The Sun. But the pair do have history: Price called Hopkins ‘ignorant’ over her views on childhood obesity views, and The Pricey also stuck up for Lily Allen when she was insulted by Hopkins for gaining weight after suffering a miscarriage.
This latest outburst comes in the same day that OK! Magazine releases their latest issue, featuring the first official pic of Bunny in the arms of her former glamour-model mum.
Katie admits in her interview with the mag that she and hubby Kieran struggled to pick a name they both liked – and also reveals that the couple plan to renew their wedding vows later in the year.
