But now, her daughter Princess has taken to the camera to set a few things straight.

Hitting back at the haters who criticised her mum for letting her little girl wear heavy make-up, including full-on fake eyelashes, the 8-year-old told the public that she does her own make-up, not her mum – and that it's no one's beeswax anyway.

Feisty Princess got loads of praise for the short clip: one mum said, "Good on you little lady. Every girl plays with makeup, my 2-year-old loves using the make-up brushes."

Another fan commented: "Good for Princess stating facts and being on your mum's side."

It's not the first time Katie's come under fire for putting make-up on her daughter. Ex-Peter Andre, Princess's dad, was apparently pretty unhappy when The Sun printed plans Katie had to launch a cosmetics range for kids - with Princess as the 'face' of the brand - when she was just 2 years old.
