French fashion label La Redoute accidentally post advert for children’s clothing with a naked man in the background
La Redoute’s online team quickly got to work yesterday after it was revealed a naked man was actually in the background of their latest children’s wear advertising campaign.
The happy-go-lucky image of four kids splashing in the sea, advertising cute summer outfits was somewhat tainted by a nudist swimmer casually walking into the sea behind. After a flurry of complaints from offended parents, the company apologised and removed the ad. But not before a handful of people got a screen shot and plastered it all over the web!
La Redoute, which is well known for its chic designs, will no doubt be a little red in the face after the bad publicity and all the, er, cheekiness…
