LEGO builds world’s biggest advent calendar in London
Covent Garden visitors can countdown to Christmas with a super-sized LEGO creation
LEGO unveiled the world’s largest LEGO Advent Calendar yesterday in Covent Garden, London.
This epic countdown to Christmas has been created using over 600,000 LEGO bricks in 30 different colours and took a whopping 7 weeks to build.
Located inside the Covent Garden Market Building’s South Hall on the West Piazza, the design will be hard to miss standing at 3m wide, 5m high and 1m deep.
Hidden behind each door is a 3D LEGO Christmas surprise – so kids can look out for a Christmas cake, Elf in the workshop, reindeer and loads more. Doors will be opened at 4pm each day from 1st– 24th December by special guests and lucky competition winners.
