Little girl pushed out of subway train and abandoned on platform
US police have now found the mother of a 7-month-old girl who was left alone on a subway platform in New York

Police in the US have found the mother who abandoned a little girl on a subway platform in New York. Witnesses saw Frankea Dabbs, push the stroller out of a northbound 1 train at Columbus Circle at about 11.50am – and then get back on the train on her own.
To the shock of passers-by, the woman dashed back onto the train as the doors closed, leaving 10-month-old Mylanea Love Edmonds alone on the platform.
Frankea has now been charged with abandoning a child and remanded without bail until she's due to return to court on 11 July, according to the New York Daily News.
The New York Police Department released CCTV footage of the woman in an attempt to locate her on Tuesday.
They also tweeted a picture of the toddler in the hope she would be identified.
“Help us ID this child," the NYPD posted."Abandoned at 59 St & Columbus Ave subway stn on 7/7. Last seen w/ F/20s. Call #800577TIPS.
Luckily a member of the public stayed with the baby, waiting for the woman to return. After 20 minutes and no sign of the woman, the person decided to contact the police.
The child was then taken to St Luke’s Roosevelt hospital for medical checks. She had a rash on her face and bandages on her hand, but other than that she was said to be healthy.
