In an interview with ABC’s 20/20 show, the 41-year-old spoke of how she had high blood pressure, gestational diabetes and pre-eclampsia while pregnant with Morrocan and Monroe.

“I was afraid I wasn’t going to able to walk properly again. It was a huge strain,” said Mariah.

The diva revealed in the weeks ahead of the babies’ birth, she was bedbound to keep them safe.

“I would sit and then someone would have to help me up. I couldn’t go even to the loo by myself. It was just like, ‘What are we doing? Are we going to the hospital?’ No, I’m going to stick it out, I’m going to keep taking this medicine to keep these babies in,” said Mariah.

“I made it to 35 weeks and then the doctor said it wasn’t safe anymore,” added Mariah.

Only last week the megastar gave the world a sneak peek of her and hubby Nick Cannon’s 5-month-old twins in the lead up to her appearance on the show.
