Martine McCutcheon has baby boy - but spells his name wrong!
Well, she's just given birth - it's not surprising the former EastEnders actress has made a typo in her tweet
Congratulations to Martine McCutcheon who has given birth to her first child with husband Jack McManus. Martine announced the news on Twitter but in her new mum rush to share, it looks like the former EastEnders actress has already got her baby's name wrong.
"Thank u all for my lovely messages! Baby Raffery is beautiful! Mop of dark hair, heart shaped face and Cupid lips - I'm in love big time :-)," she tweeted. We think that when Martine said Raffery she actually meant Rafferty.
Certainly Hello, for whom Martine writes a column, announced that dad Jack had told them, "We are delighted to announce the birth of our baby boy Rafferty Jack McManus! Born at 10:16am on 4th February weighing 6lbs 14oz."
Rafferty is an Irish name, which means prosperity or abundance. The original old Irish name was spelt O'Raighbheartaigh - imagine trying to type that after giving birth!
The 38-year-old actress was due to give birth on Valentine's Day, but we expect the new mum is glad to meet her baby a little early as she tweeted that her pregnancy was getting uncomfortable in the final stages. "Baby bump is keeping me up - restless legs are a nightmare! Anyone else have this whilst pregnant? I am painting nails..At this hour. WTF?!" she tweeted last week.
While pregnant, Martine attended her friend's wedding with husband of 2 years Jack, 30. She styled her 8-month bump in a cream lace dress from Asos. "My dress arrived from @ASOS hurrah! It fits baby bump really well too. Wedding outfit sorted. Phew," she tweeted.
And now the Love Actually actress is looking forward to getting out of her maternity clothes and into some new ones! "Once I've had baby I think I would like some new clothes! @jackmcmanus hint hint... #shopping #fun #welldeserved #longoverdue," she tweeted.
Congratulations both!
