Milla Jovovich's unusual name for her second daughter
The Resident Evil actress is in 'cuddle mode' with her newborn
Milla Jovovich has given birth to her second child, and wasted no time in sharing the details about her newborn. The Resident Evil actress gave birth to her second daughter in the early hours of April Fool's Day – just 2 days after her due date.
Milla and her film director husband Paul W.S. Anderson chose the unusual gender-neutral name Dashiel for their little girl. "We are so proud to announce the birth of our second daughter Ms. Dashiel Edan Jovovich-Anderson today!!!" Milla commented sharing an adorable Instagram picture of her baby. "She is 7lbs. 10 oz. and 20 inches long! We love you Dash!"
Before announcing the birth on Instagram, the couple released a statement to E! Online. "Milla delivered her daughter Dashiel at 5.45 this morning," a spokesman said yesterday. "Everyone is thrilled and beyond happy! Milla is in cuddle mode with her new daughter!"
The couple are already parents to 7-year-old daughter Ever Gabo. Last week, Milla shared a picture with her firstborn. "Enjoying our last week as a family of 3 before the baby comes! My husband took this pic while we had amazing Korean bbq at #genwa in LA. What a great afternoon!" she commented.
Congratulations! We're sure Ever will make a great big sister!
