Mum-to-be Kate Middleton reveals she wants a baby boy
But pregnant Duchess says Prince William is hoping for a baby girl
Pregnant Kate Middleton yesterday admitted that she and Prince William are divided between what they would like the sex of their baby to be.
The Duchess said she’d like to have a baby boy, but that William is keen for the baby to be a girl.
The 31-year-old, who’s due to give birth in July, also shared the news that the couple do not have any baby names picked out yet.
The Duchess made the remarks to a member of the 1st Battalion Irish Guards while she was attending a St Patrick’s Day parade with Prince William.
“I was talking to her about the baby. I asked, ‘Do you know if it’s a girl or a boy?’ and she said, ‘Not yet’. She said, ‘I’d like to have a boy and William would like to have a girl,’” said Guardsman Lee Wheeler, according to The Sun.
Kate's recent comments seem to put to rest the rumours that the couple knew they were expecting a baby girl.
It seems as if it's very common for parents-to-be to have in mind what sex they would like their baby to be.
We'd love to know if you hoped your baby was a certain sex? If so, did you find out whether you were having a boy or a girl before the birth?
