Mum who weighs 43 stone bid to become World’s Fattest Woman
Already a size XXXXXXXL, mum-of-two Donna Simpson wants to fatten up to 71 stone in two years
Stuffing her face with calorific cakes, pies and doughnuts, 42-year-old Donna Simpson clearly isn’t watching her weight. In fact, the 43 stone heavyweight mum is increasing her appetite in order to win the title of the Worlds Fattest Woman.
Determined to double her size to 71 stone in just two years, Donna from New Jersey, US is living on a diet of cakes and junk food to bulk up to the challenge, although she insists she is healthy despite her XXXXXXXL dress size. “My favourite food is sushi, but unlike others I can sit and eat 70 big pieces of sushi in one go,” she revealed. “I do love cakes and sweet things, doughnuts are my favourite.”
Already holding the title of the world’s fattest mother in the Guinness World Records, she weighed a whopping 38 stone when she gave birth to her daughter Jacqueline in 2007. Donna had to be carried into the ward by a team of 30 men, just like Romanian mum Victoria Lacatus.
Unable to move around without her mobility scooter, Donna can only move 20ft before she has to sit down and rest. However, undeterred by her already morbidly obese state, she wants to be bigger. “I’d love to be 1,000lb. Although it might be hard though, running after my daughter keeps my weight down.” How far she can run is debatable, but one thing’s for sure is Donna’s determination – with full support of her partner Philippe, 49. “He’s a real belly man and completely supports me. I think he’d like it if I was bigger,” Donna said of her partner, who she met on a plus-sized dating website.
Chomping her way through 12,000 calories a day (the average daily intake is 2,000), she spends $750 on her weekly food shop to stock up on her huge portions and fatty treats.
