Mums say family holidays are more stressful than work
Survey shows going on holiday with children is more difficult than the day job
Organising and going on holiday with your children is more stressful than the average working day, a new survey has found.
Teletext Holidays asked 2,000 mums their views on holidaying with their children, with one in four admitting the organisation and keeping everybody happy while on holiday is more stressful than a working day in the office.
The journey to the holiday destination was named the biggest holiday worry for 32% of mums, with four in 10 confessing they dread their annual summer holiday because of the stress it causes.
A massive 38% actually admitted they avoid going abroad as a family because they worry about the stress.
