Music video features couple struggling with infertility
Touching song looks at how trying to conceive affects both partners and is raising money for UK Infertility Network
A charity single has been released to raise money and awareness for the UK Infertility Network. The song, Just Running Late, was written by singer, songwriter and actor Michael Taylorson. The singer was inspired by his best friends, who have been struggling for 6 years to conceive.
"I tried to put myself in Nathan's shoes - he needed to be strong for his wife but he was really struggling himself," Michael explains. "The line that came to me was 'the child that we wait for, is just running late'. It struck me that looking at parenthood as something on hold, might just carry more hope than another negative line in a pregnancy test."
Michael got in touch with UK Infertility Network about the song and it is now being released as a charity single.
