New Winnie-the-Pooh book out today!
Christopher Robin returns to the Hundred Acre Wood after 80 years
The new Winnie-the-Pooh book, Return to the Hundred Acre Wood, goes on sale today 53 years after the death of Pooh's original creator, A. A. Milne.
Inspired by the original books, written by A.A. Milne and illustrationed by E.H. Shepard, the sequel brings us 10 new tales of Pooh's adventures and welcomes a new character, Lottie the otter.
As well as filling readers in on what the original much loved characters, including Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore, have been up to for the last 80 years, the feisty Lottie causes a stir in the Hundred Acre Wood.
Author, David Benedictus, is delighted to have been able bring us up-to-date with Pooh's adventures. "It's an honour to have created this new adventure for Winnie-the-Pooh," says David. "And it only seemed right that they have a new friend to enjoy such an adventure with. Lottie truly embodies Winnie-the-Pooh's values of friendship and adventure throughout Milne's work, making the perfect companion for everyone's favourite bear."
