A baby girl was abandoned at a London railway station on Thursday
A newborn baby has been found by a member of public in one of the baby changing rooms at Victoria train station in London.
The four-week-old girl is said to be safe and well after being abandoned at the transport hub on Thursday evening.
Police are now looking for the mother of the child and have released CCTV images of a woman pushing a buggy outside the rooms on the same day. Officers believe that she may be able to help with their inquiries.
Detective Constable Dave Peek of British Transport Police, who is investigating the case said: "The baby is safe and well and being looked after."
