Mums and dads would most like their children to be doctors when they grow up, a new poll has found.

MyVoucherCodes asked 1,219 parents what their dream profession would be for their children. Medicine topped the wish list, closely followed by lawyers and scientists.
The top ten professions chosen by parents for their children are:

- Lawyer
- Scientist
- Policeman
- Sportsman
- Entrepreneur
- Fireman
- Inventor
- Politician
