Paternity test confirms the father of Kourtney Kardashian’s son
Man claiming to have had an affair demanded a DNA test
Following months of pressure from the man who claims to be a former lover, Kourtney Kardashian has finally given in to male model Michael Girgenti’s demands for a paternity test to confirm the father of her son, Mason.
The results, published today, confirm that Scott Disick, Kourtney’s current partner, is the father.
Michael Girgenti claims to have had an affair with Kourtney while she and Scott Disik were on a break in their 7-year relationship in 2009.
Kourtney told E! News: "After 3-and-a-half years of lies being spread by an individual I met briefly at a photo shoot, I am setting the record straight that Scott is Mason's father.
"While it saddens me to have to address these ridiculous lies - especially when the truth was never in doubt - this story must be put to rest," she said.
Michael Girgenti is reportedly refusing to accept the results as conclusive: "We don’t trust the results and believe it could have been fixed," Michael’s spokesperson told RadarOnline, who says they plan to still go to court to fight for court-ordered results.
Michael reportedly wrote a letter to Kourtney in 2008 requesting the DNA test saying "My attentions [sic] are not to hurt the family you've created with Scott," according to RadarOnline.
"Please take this final request for a DNA test seriously...Because if you don't, I will be forced to take legal action and sue," he is alleged to have written.
