Peaches Geldof pregnant with baby no.2!
Model reveals she knows baby's gender and has already chosen a name
Peaches Geldof has revealed she’s expecting baby number two with husband Thomas Cohen.
The 23-year-old, who gave birth to son Astala just six months ago, is reportedly three-and-a-half months pregnant with a baby boy and has admitted discovering she was pregnant again so quickly came as "quite a shock".
“I did have a momentary panic and go, ‘Oh my God, we’re going to have a one-year-old and a one-month-old! How will we cope?” Peaches told Hello! magazine, according to The Daily Mail.
“Tom was so supportive and relaxed, it banished my doubts and I started imagining the two boys growing up together as the best of friends. There are massive benfits to having two children so close together,” she said.
The model, who was previously told she couldn’t have children, say they have already picked out the name Pheadra for the newest addition to their family - a name of ancient Greek origin, meaning "bright", and which features in one of the couple’s favourite songs.
Peaches revealed she decided to take a pregnancy test when she realised she was craving sour sweets, just as she had during her first pregnancy, and had already started to see signs of a baby bump. Despite being happy about the news, the model says she’s not planning on baby number three following on quite so quickly.
“I don’t think I’ll be adding to our little brood until later on in my life, when I’m older and don’t have two toddlers running around demanding all of Tom’s and my attention,” she said.
“I may only be 23 and the only one of my friends who’s married, got a baby on the way and is on the verge of moving to Surrey, but it’s a life I always dreamed of and I couldn’t be happier.”
Congrats Peaches and Tom! We bet Astala can't wait to have a little brother!
