Penelope Cruz thinks becoming a mum is a revolutionary experience, reports the Daily Mirror.

The 38-year-old star, who has a 20-month-old son Leonardo with hubby Javier Bardem, claims she changed as a person from the moment she gave birth.

“From the first second, you feel so much in love. It’s a revolutionary experience,” said Penelope.

“That’s the best way I can describe it. It transforms you completely, in a second.”

The ‘To Rome With Love’ actress is also adamant she won’t be signing any magazine deals to show Leonardo off to the public.

“I’m 100 percent against that. Children aren’t a handbag. I want my son and my kids – if I have more – to grow up in a way that is as anonymous as possible.”

It seems motherhood is the buzzword in celebville, with Cheryl Cole and Jennifer Aniston desperate to have kids, and singer Pink opening up about her mad life as a mum.
