Pregnant Drew Barrymore: 'I'm not fat'
Star laughs off 'fat' jibes and says pregnancy's not about looking perfect
It’s a brave person who makes fun of a pregnant woman's size. But Drew Barrymore didn't even raise an outraged eyebrow when US comedian and TV-show host Ellen DeGeneres called her ‘fat’ at the People’s Chose Awards in LA.
Instead, the 38-year-old actress shared the jibe with the audience as she presented Adam Sandler with an award.
‘Ellen DeGeneres just told me I was fat!" she said. "But I'm not! It was really funny."
The He's Just Not That Into You actress is pregnant with her second child with Will Kopelman.
And she's already said, in the December issue of Women's Health magazine, that she’s not too worried about her pregnancy style.
“You're not supposed to look perfect while you're making babies," she said. "Making babies is the perfection.
“It's about feeling good in clothes, and knowing you can get dressed up for an evening and work it for a minute.
“You know, maybe get back into a certain pair of jeans, but there's just no such thing as perfection. If you're trying to get there, you're just torturing yourself.”
