Pregnant Jaime King wears dramatic maternity dress at Met Gala
The actress showed off her glamorous baby bump on the red carpet
It's probably the most glitzy red carpet event of the year, but we reckon pregnant Jaime King stole the show at the Met Gala in New York in her stunning red strapless gown.
The gown showed off her baby bump perfectly with the flowing train adding a touch of glamour. The Sin City actress topped off her dazzling look with sleek hair and a slick of scarlet lipstick. In fact, the 36-year-old looked so elegant, she earned a few envious looks from others on the red carpet – just look at the side-eye from the woman in a black tuxedo!
The dress was custom-made by Jason Wu for Hugo Boss to fit Jaime's every curve – and the actress took to Instagram to show how they prepared her dress – with the help of a pregnant mannequin! "Just hanging out with my mannequin! Can you believe they made a perfect form with my exact measurements with baby! #Met #Behindthescenes #whoknew?" she commented on Instagram.
But it wasn't all as effortless as Jaime made it look – she also shared a selfie of herself having a mild panic about walking in heels. "WAIT?!!!! HOW MANY STEPS DO I HAVE TO WALK UP PREGNANT IN HEELS?!!!" she commented. Rather you than us Jaime – pregnant or not!
Jaime is expecting her second child with husband Kyle Newman – the couple are already parents to 16-month-old son James Knight.
