Pregnant Kate Middleton won't travel abroad for rest of the year
Global trips put on hold as Kate nears end of second trimester - Prince William may do a few short trips
Pregnant Kate Middleton is thought to be putting an end to global trips for the rest of the year.
As Kate nears the end of her second trimester, being thought to be due in July of this year, her and Prince William's principal private secretary, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton has said:
"I'm not anticipating the Duke and Duchess taking on overseas tours because of her baby," reports Marie Claire. Although Jamie added that the idea of a royal tour would be 'assessed' later on.
However, a source (thought to be close to the royals) told the Mirror newspaper that they thought Prince William may do a few short trips. Meanwhile, Prince Harry has been signed up to a larger tour of America.
Kate has recently been seen sporting chic coats and dresses, mixing high street buys with desginer as part of her maternity wardrobe. Get all the latest Kate news on our dedicated royal baby news page.
