Pregnant Kimberley Walsh doesn't let broken wrist stop her plans
The former Girls Aloud singer was looking super-stylish in an elegant lacy dress at not one but two engagements this week
When pregnant singer Kimberley Walsh slipped and fell last month she sustained a nasty injury to her wrist, snapping one of the bones.
Shortly afterwards the singer, who is expecting her first baby with partner Justin Scott, took to Twitter to say: "Just been for a check up & our little munchkin is fine. I took the entire weight of the fall on my wrist so baby is very happy".
The small matter of a plaster cast hasn't stopped her from donning some stylish evening wear and heading out on the town.
Last night she was spotted in a black and white lace dress by Body Frock for the launch of the label's Spring/Summer collection. She also wore a blue version of the brand's 'Mary' dress for a special gala performance of Katya Virshilas and Pasha Kovalev at London's Lyric Theatre on Monday night.
Walsh rose to fame back in 2002 on Popstars:The Rivals, where she was chosen to be part of pop band Girls Aloud, alongside Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle, who recently became a mum.
Now the 32-year-old feels ready to take on the challenges of motherhood. She recently said, "I've travelled. I'm in a good mental state, I'm completely fine about being selfless for the first time ever and I can now dedicate my life to a baby."
