You’d expect a mum of 13 young children to have her work cut out with her large brood – but it hasn’t put off 39-year-old Sara Foss. Even though she is pregnant with her 14th baby, Sara wants to keep on trying until she has twins, or triplets.

After giving birth to her first baby, Patrick, in 1986, it seems Sara caught the baby bug and has since gone onto giving birth to a further 13 babies, with an average one per year.

At 20-weeks pregnant with her 14th baby, Sara admits to being disappointed that it was just the one baby she conceived but vows to continue trying until she gives birth to twins. “It is my biggest wish to have twins or triplets, and I’m going to keep trying until I do it,” she told the Daily Mail.

The family of 15 (soon to be 16) pick up £50,000 in benefits a year, spending £600 on groceries per week, including 32 loaves of bread, 36 rolls of toilet paper, 126 pints of milk and eight boxes of cereal. But that doesn’t stop Sara wanting more. “I’m going to keep trying, that’s for sure,” she’s declared.

The choice of baby names for her brood have also raised eyebrows, ranging from traditional Patrick to Malachi, Peppermint, Echo, Rogue, Frodo, Artemis and Voorhees!
