Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have baby girl
The Hollywood couple have reportedly become parents and were both said to be in tears when their baby was born
Hearts may be breaking all over the world following reports that Ryan Gosling is officially a baby daddy.
While there’s no word from the new parents just yet, numerous sources have confirmed to People and Us Weekly that actress Eva Mendes gave birth to the couple’s first child, a baby girl, on Friday 12 September.
“Eva is so happy she's a mum,” a source told E! News. “Their baby girl is perfect! They are at home now and Eva feels great.” The insider also described the birth as “emotional” for the couple, sharing that Eva and Ryan “were in tears” when they saw their newborn daughter for the first time.
It’s no secret that the couple were excited to become parents, with 33-year-old Ryan telling The Times back in 2011, “I’ll make movies until I make babies. I don't think I'll be able to do both and I'm fine with that.”
Rumours that 40-year-old Eva was 7 months along first surfaced in July this year, but the couple went to great lengths to keep the pregnancy under wraps, literally. She was spotted creatively covering her stomach with scarves not long after the news broke.
The Hitch actress has been keeping a low profile at the couple's LA home – and we don’t blame her – especially since it's believed that a doting Ryan has been doing all the cooking.
The notoriously private pair have been dating for three years, after meeting on the set of the 2011 film The Place Beyond The Pines.
Congrats!
