The new Wayfarer buggy is an update on an original 1980’s Silvercross design. This modern reincarnation retains all the great features (large shopping basket, signature rectangular shaped chassis, secondary footrest and ease of use as a travel system) with all-new benefits to create a modern classic that meets the demands of 21st century life.

Smart, colourful, lightweight and durable, the Wayfarer stroller is designed to meet parents changing needs in one great package.

A fun fact we learnt on the day is that the Wayfarer chassis weighs only 6.5kg and folds small enough to fit in a Toyota Yaris and Ford Fiesta!

Another stand out feature was the leatherette handle grip and multi-position lever with extra long extendable handlebar – this design feature will definitely accommodate even the tallest parents.

Four years in development, the brand new Simplicity car seat showcased the latest innovations to make it one of the most advanced infant safety products on the market.

Suitable from birth to 13kg, this high grade lightweight construction offers maximum safety thanks to the superior side impact protection, head support and deep internal padding, 5-point safety harness and easy to follow blue guides which indicate correct seat belt position.

Other features include a comfort wedge for newborns, generous internal space for baby growth, one hand adjustable harness and head support height, removable and washable fabrics.

The Simplicity car seat can also be fixed using either lap and diagonal seat belt or Simplifix base (£125).

Available from spring 2013 – the Wayfarer base carrycot and pushchair in black, £395, hood and apron pack, £100, and Simplicity car seat, £130, are all available from Silver Cross.
