SPOILER ALERT – Shock miscarriage in EastEnders
Will a newly pregnant EastEnder lose her unborn baby in Christmas storyline?
We all know that Christmas on Albert Square is never a merry one, and it looks like this year is no exception! With Peggy Mitchell about to be kicked out of her beloved Queen Victoria pub, the Mitchell’s might have another shock in store – a miscarriage.
After losing her daughter, with whom she was newly reunited with after 18 years, from a hit-and-run accident, Ronnie Mitchell yearned for another baby. After a few one-night stands and brief flings with local lads such as Jack Branning, the feisty Mitchell was no closer to getting her much longed for baby. Until she met Owen Turner…
Revealing her expectant news to sister Roxy, the excited mum-to-be has kept her news quiet so far, completely unaware that the daddy-to-be has since been killed off by his foe, Lucas Johnson (a lot can happen in a week on Albert Square!)
Ronnie’s estranged dad, Archie, has been plotting with fellow schemers Janine Butcher and Ryan Malloy, to possess the Queen Victoria pub and leave the Mitchell’s homeless. Their evil plans seem to have worked in scenes to be aired December 22, when Peggy sees her licensee plaque replaced with Archie’s name.
Ronnie confronts her dad, who then pushes her against the bar, knocking her back. She later heads upstairs for an early night but is doubled over in pain and calls for help. Could Ronnie be about to lose her beloved unborn baby?
You’ll have to tune in on December 22 to find out!
