Ten female soldiers fall pregnant in Afghanistan
Over 100 pregnancy tests requested on the front line since April
Ten female soldiers serving in Afghanistan have been sent home after falling pregnant.
While strict Army rules ban intimate relationships between staff, it’s been revealed a massive 100 tests have been requested by female soldiers since April this year, with ten proving positive.
Troops arriving in combat zones are warned of a ‘no touching’ rule on arrival, and while flouting the rules can lead to disciplinary action, the ten women in question have not been disciplined over their pregnancies.
All ten women have been flown home away from their positions for their own wellbeing and that of their unborn child.
