The Twitterview: Jenni Falconer
Presenter Jenni Falconer on buggy runs, mucky breakfasts and 16-month-old Ella's toe-biting antics...
Jenni took to Twitter to spill the beans on life in the Falconer household...
@PPPMAGAZINE: How do you juggle being a mum and keeping fit?
@Jennifalconer: It's hard - I use a pram that I can run with an I walk our dog, Alfie, a lot. I go to the gym if James [her hubby James Midgley] is around at 6am or 8pm. You just have to fit it in!
@PPPMAGAZINE: Do you have a favourite healthy meal you cook for your family?
@Jennifalconer: I'm a terrible cook. On Sundays sometimes James and I cook roast chicken for us all. But generally it's salad, omelette, stir fry or more chicken!
@PPPMAGAZINE: What do you like to do as a family?
@Jennifalconer: Just hang out! We love going for a walk with Alfie. Ella adores the zoo in Battersea Park.
@PPPMAGAZINE: What funny things does Ella do?
@Jennifalconer: Currently she likes biting my toes, and saying bye bye to visitors when she's had enough!
@PPPMAGAZINE: What kind of games do you play with Ella to help her learn?
@Jennifalconer: We stack things, colour match, connect blocks, sing (I'm dreadful at singing!), read and play chase.
@PPPMAGAZINE: Now you're a mum, what three products couldn't you live without?
@Jennifalconer: Baby wipes - for everything! Mega Bloks toys - fun/ educational/ easy to pack away! Tinted moisturiser - no time for make-up.
@PPPMAGAZINE: What's your mum-on-the-go beauty tip?
@Jennifalconer: Facials take too long, so I have a nice selection of masks and scrubs. Once a week I pamper myself.
@PPPMAGAZINE: What's in your handbag today?
@Jennifalconer: My purse, glasses, Oyster card, baby wipes, some powder, mascara, gloss and there's usually a bottle of Evian with a baby's teat on the top!
@PPPMAGAZINE: What's the best thing about being a mum?
@Jennifalconer: Without a doubt it's getting to know this beautiful little girl!
Now check out our fave Jenni Falconer tweets:
@Jennifalconer Off to a music playgroup with Ella! Hope I don't have to sing... even 1-year-olds cover their ears!
@Jennifalconer Morning! breakfast in bed seemed like a good idea, but Ella has smeared food all over the duvet... breakfast in the kitchen tomorrow!
@Jennifalconer Lying in bed listening to Ella in her cot singing to her toys. It's very cute (although it wouldn't be if it was 6am!).
