The 50-year-old fell pregnant with 1-month-old Flame after having IVF treatment.

The newborn slept peacefully in her mum’s arms during the interview.

She said: “'I feel privileged and charmed and so lucky to have her. She’s so content, she’s not a crier – yet.”

Tina, who was joined by her husband Paul Chase, 31, said she happy to be a role model for older women who wish to conceive.

She said: “I’m not saying you should run out at 50 and get pregnant, but we should encourage debate on older women who are now more successful in the workplace, more educated, can make better choices with men and relationships.

“Why shouldn’t you have the opportunities in your 40s to go for IVF, either with your own eggs or egg donation?'

She added: “I’m not saying it’s for everyone at 50 to run out and get pregnant, but I have proved my critics wrong... I’m healthy and happy.”
