Tina O’Brien gives birth to baby boy
Second child for former Coronation Street actress who played Sara-Louise Platt in the TV soap
Tina O’Brien has given birth to a baby boy. The former Coronation Street actress and her boyfriend Adam Crofts are yet to choose a name for their newborn.
"Tina and Adam are over the moon with their new arrival," a source told the Mirror. "They are a really down-to-earth couple and everyone in the area is delighted for them."
The 31-year-old actress and her personal trainer boyfriend didn’t find out the baby’s sex ahead of the birth, which happened just over a week ago. Perhaps that’s why they’re taking a while to settle on a name.
Tina, who played Sara-Louise Platt in Corrie for 8 years, is also mum to daughter Scarlett, 5. Scarlett's dad is Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas, who played Jason Grimshaw, her on-screen partner.
Tina revealed her bump has proved a bit of a challenge towards the end of her second pregnancy.
"Struggling to get out of bed, have to shuffle over bit by bit. I'm like a bus doing a 10 point turn #heavilypregnant," she tweeted last month.
But Tina still had a wait ahead. In fact, the mum-of-2 may have been slightly overdue when she gave birth, as she tweeted she had "2 weeks (hopefully slightly less)" to go on September 16.
Congratulations both!
