"I'll never forget my first baby, it'll always be part of our family, but now we can't wait to become parents," she told Closer magazine.

The reality TV star announced her first pregnancy on 4 January – shortly after her best friend Billi Mucklow announced her own pregnancy on Christmas Day. Billi gave birth to her son Arlo in June and Cara has been a doting aunty since – pictured with him above.

And now Cara says that she and boyfriend Daniel came through the difficult time stronger than ever. "We went through an awful time together, and I can see how something that traumatic can break a couple," she said. "But we saw a different, more caring side to each other and it brought us so much closer."

Cara is now 22 weeks pregnant – she conceived just two months later. "I was so nervous up until the 20-week scan,' she said. "I've been trying to relax and enjoy my pregnancy but there's always a niggle of worry.

"Daniel and I knew we wanted to get pregnant again straight away so I was overjoyed when I found out I was expecting two months later"

And her best friend Billi can't wait for Cara to become a mum. "So Excited And Happy For ‪@carakilbey Can't Wait To Meet This Bubba And Spoil Him Or Her With Kisses…"
