Parents are switching their black baby products for a new colour in 2025 – and it will surprise you
Parents are flocking to this trending colour for all their baby essentials, including pushchairs, prams, car seats and more.
Since Pantone announced their 2025 colour of the year – Mocha Mousse – parents across the country have been ditching the bog-standard blacks and greys of most baby essentials for warmer shades of brown.
Rich chocolate, gentle mocha and light biscotti are among the many shades to have infiltrated the parenting world recently, taking over everything from pushchairs to car seats, to pram parasols.
According to iCandy, searches for ‘brown pushchairs’ have surged by 54% over the past year, while 'chocolate' and 'mocha' prams have also climbed by at least 35%.
This shift from parents towards a more vintage sepia look seems reflective of a desire for calmer, earthy neutrals in their aesthetic.
