No bones about it

As thoughts quickly turn to what to dress up as this Halloween, MFM's has spotted a lyrca-tastic costume trend.

Once confined to bachelor parties, reserved for the suitably shy groom, polyester and spandex stretchy morphsuits are not only growing in popularity, but in intricacy of design and age range available.

Expect to see lots of 'mini-morphs' trick or treating this Halloween, as we have found some super cool kids styles perfect for the occasion.

From a spooky skeleton to an out-of-this-world astronaut, there is something for every child's taste - as long as they don't mind the all-in-one, over-the-head nature of the suit - which is fitted with a quick release velcro fastening.

Interestingly, psychologist Dr David Holmes has reported that lyrca clad kids donning Morphsuits have shown an increased level of confidence and other important social skills.

"The Morphsuits give children the chance to be who they want to be," says Dr Holmes "They encourage kids to live out their fantasies in confidence and unidentifiable safety, as well as helping them network and connect with their mates who also wear them."

During tests Dr Holmes also found that children with autism felt a calming effect due to the all-over body sensation provided by the suit.

Morphsuits for kids are all £29.95 from morphkids.co.uk and are available in three sizes; 6-8 years, 8-10 years and 10+
