Wow! Mum lets 12-year-old 'deliver' her baby
This little girl's life-changing experience has captured the internet's attention...
12-year-old Jacee Dellapena has gone viral - all because she helped to deliver her baby brother.
During her mum Dede’s labour, Jacee decided she really wanted to see her lil bro being born, so asked if she could get closer to the, erm, business end of the situation.
And with mum’s (reluctant) consent, the doctor allowed Jacee to do more than just witness the birth.
He allowed her to help him deliver the baby ???
So, Jacee put on some scrubs, and with the doctor’s hand over hers, she took the lead and delivered her new sibling, baby Cayson.
"I started crying because I thought I wasn't going to get to see him be born, because I was too short,” an excited Jacee told MSN News.
"He let me actually push down and pull the baby out… I was like, wow, like I've played fake doctor before, but this is, like, the real thing, this is is the real deal.
"I was nervous that I was gonna mess up or tear her or something, but it was the best moment of my life."
Dad Zack caught the whole experience on camera, and naturally the emotive pics have had a huge reaction online.
Some commenters think this story is amazing, and that it really is a magical moment to have caught on camera.
Naturally, others have been quite concerned that it might have been too overwhelming (and unforgettable) an experience for someone so young, judging by Jacee's reactions.
But mum Dede added: "Seeing the emotions on her face, it made me cry. I'm about to cry now! It was just a good moment."
Have your say
Would you let your child help deliver your baby - would you even want them in the delivery room at all?
