When the Hauck Eco Mobil pull-along wagon arrived, my kids were beyond excited. And honestly? So was I.

As a mum of three, I’m always on the lookout for ways to make days out less stressful – and this seemed like it could be the answer. But was it really worth the price and storage space?

The moment we unboxed it, my two youngest – Olive, 6, and Ivy, 3 – were climbing in, desperate to try it out. Straight away, I could tell it was well made, and I was relieved to find that putting it together was incredibly easy.

The hardest part was attaching the wheels, and even that only took about 10 minutes. The sun canopy was a little fiddly to slot in, but it was done within minutes.

The children were so excited when this arrived and couldn't wait to go out in it.

I was genuinely surprised by how easy was it to pull. Even with both kids inside, it felt light as a feather.

My 6-year-old could pull her little sister along with ease. On flat ground, like pavements or park paths, it was effortless, and it worked well on soil too. However, I wouldn’t attempt pulling it up steep hills – I didn’t feel safe doing so, and even small raised kerbs were a bit of a challenge.

Now the important part: did the kids approve? Yes – in fact, they didn’t want to get out! The cushioned seats were soft, and I loved that they wiped clean easily. The sun canopy was a great addition, especially for hot days.

I was very relieved that the wagon managed to fit in the boot of my car when folded

My only wish? That it had room for three kids instead of just two. There are no harnesses, which might be a concern for some parents, but the low centre of gravity made it feel stable.

If you’re short on storage space, this might not be the best option. Even when folded, it’s still bulky and takes up a lot of room. I was relieved that it fit in my car boot, but it did take up most of the space. If you live in a smaller home or flat, finding a spot for it could be tricky.

At £259.95, this is definitely a considered purchase. But if you regularly go on family days out and struggle with pushchairs, scooters, or tired little legs, this could be a game-changer. It’s durable, well-designed, and makes getting around with kids so much easier.

This pull-along wagon was a huge hit with my family. It made trips to the park, beach, and countryside walks much easier, and my kids loved it. The biggest downside is the space it takes up when folded, but if you have the room to store it, it’s a fantastic investment for active families.

The Hauck Eco Mobil wagon is available from Amazon, Clair de Lune and Kiddies Kingdom.
