Why Sandi Thom refused to be induced
Doctors worried the I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker singer's baby would be too big
Sandi Thom has given birth to her baby boy. The first-time mum revealed last week that she refused to be induced.
"Still here!! Said no to induction. Baby will come when baby is ready!," she tweeted, sharing a pic of her 9-month bump.
And her husband Matt Benson was quick to support her, tweeting: "@Sandi_Thom Our BabyB and mama's body know best X"
Elaborating on Instagram, Sandi explained: "Still VERY pregnant. Refused induction. Want baby to come when he's ready.
"Doctors fussing about his size. But really, we need to give our bodies more credit. Women have been birthing for thousands of years.
"I'm pretty sure if my granny could do it 8 times! I can do one very healthy larger than most baby. ?????"
Their overdue 'big' baby finally made an appearance over the weekend. "So proud to say this week our little boy arrived into the world. Weighing in at 9lbs 15oz!! " Sandi tweeted, announcing the news.
Congratulations both!
