Tim Causa, from Northern Virginia in the USA, says he developed the device after his newborn son Jack suffered acid reflux and needed feeding every 25 minutes.

Tim says he realised that he could be using the time usefully by catching up on emails and work stuff - but struggled to hold his baby, the phone and the bottle all at the same time.

"Every night I would wake up every two hours to the sound of Jack screaming for a bottle. As soon as he started feeding, Jack would nearly fall back asleep,” Tim explains on his Kickstarter page.

“For 25 minutes at a time, I was in a dark, quiet room feeding my son. It dawned on me that I could do some catch-up work while he fed, but I needed something to help me hold a bottle and my smartphone.

I searched online for solutions, but nothing was on the market. That's when I decided to seize the opportunity and solve the problem myself."

He describes the dishwasher-safe clip as a "unique solution to a problem every parent experiences - doing anything while feeding a baby.

"Now you can catch up on those important work emails, share photos of your baby with loved ones, read the news and even buy diapers and wipes - the possibilities are limitless."

It's certainly a very modern solution to what some parents might consider a very modern dilemma, isn't it?

What do you think?

Can you see this being a useful piece of kit, or do you relish the 1-to-1 bonding time of feeding your baby, in a quite, phone-free zone?
